Why do people love propaganda and not the Truth? Because the spirit of truth does not abide in everyone, first of all. Spiritum veritatis, quem mundus non potest accipere, quia non videt eum nec cognoscit. Vos cognoscitis eum, quia apud vos manet; et in vobis erit. [1] Many people are not structured to seek the Truth. Seeking the Truth implies will of knowing, suffering, study, dedication. The Truth is ἀ-λήθεια, to remove the/withdraw from hiding, just to revert to well known Heideggerian echoes. This is why, I say, many people are not structured. Many are instead structured to be spoon-fed, nourished, sated and grazed with lies when they sit tired, empty and brutalized, in front of a TV, or pass in front of distorting but high-sounding newspaper headlines, and therefore bred by propaganda, through repetitive, obsessive but essential information, which distracts by diverting them from the Truth.
