About the universe contained in the Lithuanian word "įgimtas"

In this and the following posts (the posts that will follow up) I want to talk and discuss some subjects of the Lithuanian language: in my opinion a wonderful, incredible language in its structures. I will talk about it ad libitum, at my pleasure and will. I will choose the topics that tickle me, stimulate me, amuse me. They will not be posts for specialists but for curious people.

Today I would like to talk about the adjective įgimtas "congenital, innate". Which is formed by the prefix į + gimtas with the suffix - tas, productive of past participles and masculine (-tas) and feminine (-ta) adjectives.

Gimtas comes from gimti "to be born". Within a possible etymological interpretation of gimti, there is a possible correlation with the ancient Greek βαίνω "to go", Sanskrit गच्छति, gacchati, "to go", Latin venio "to come". Since the prefix į - also denotes "movement towards" [as in įeiti "go (walk) into], therefore įgimtas denotes" a movement towards a place that comes by nature, i.e. congenital, whose occupation belongs to him/her by birth ", and by occupying that place he/she is enabled to appear.

Also in Italian, it is well said "venire al mondo" to come into the world (ateiti į pasaulį) [to occupy a place and appear (parodyti)].

Fasting to reconnect your "Self" to your body

If there is a discrepancy between yourself and the body, between what you are and what you don't feel you are in your body, then fast, because there is excess to remove in the body. Those who fasted in the Old Testament did so to invoke great changes in life. Jesus himself fasted for forty nights and forty days and after fasting he was ready and strong enough to resist the devil and was ripe for his minist
