The modern man has been pushed into the underground like the man in the well known Dostoevsky's novel

Alvydas Jokubaitis, a Lithuanian political philosopher, probably the most brilliant thinker in Lithuania, spotted the red line that unites the Communist regime and the current globalism, especially EU globalism, in the obliteration of the Christian homo interior concept, even though that concept belongs de facto to the Humanism and to the Renaissance as well and therefore it is not exclusively of Christianity, we have to bear in mind that those centuries were centuries when that concept began to slide towards a reductio ad hominem sine Deo, that has never ended. And today we see the horrific results.

But let's follow Jokubaitis in his reasoning:

[I] Sovietinio žmogaus virtimas liberalios demokratijos žmogumi nepakeitė sovietinio žmogaus priklausisuma.

The transformation of the Soviet man into a man of liberal democracy did not change the Soviet man's dependence on the influences of society. Soviet Marxists used to say that man is the totality of social relations. In the post-Soviet period, the hopes of a new person and a new society continue to be nurtured. It is believed that the system can solve all human problems. It is believed that a good man arises only from a good system.

The rhetoric of political life is based on the slogans of the struggle for human rights, but it is forgotten what Christians call the inner man. A network of social and humanitarian sciences has been created, but their representatives have never been interested in the person, but in his determinations.

The inner man has been pushed aside, beyond political thinking. Politicians talk a lot about caring for the individual, but they actually care only about his determinants. The concept of the inner person may have less value than the gross domestic product and the trade with new goods

This is not a coincidence. Representatives of modern social sciences and politicians in recent centuries have gradually stopped talking about the inner man and have cared most about his external determinants. It can be said that they pushed the man into the underground, as Dostoevsky wrote about it.

Fasting to reconnect your "Self" to your body

If there is a discrepancy between yourself and the body, between what you are and what you don't feel you are in your body, then fast, because there is excess to remove in the body. Through the stratifications of fat, the material that alienates you is deposited in the body. Removing decades of fat you remove the "Self" from its impediments to be reconnected with the body. Start thinking about fasting and wait for the right moment. Your body has its own indicators; it will signal when it is the right time to start fasting. Fasting is not a mere physical fact. It is changing the spirit of a time that has become stranger to us and that lives in us in order to alienate us to ourselves. Impossible to fast, without implying a change of the inner spirit. Those who fasted in the Old Testament did so to invoke great changes in life. Jesus himself fasted for forty nights and forty days and after fasting he was ready and strong enough to resist the devil and was ripe for his minist...

The temple of youth

The yearning for death is but a swift race seeking to curtail our tormented pace. There lies a sacredness in thy yearning toward the highest good wildly striving. Toss the gaze heavenward and grasp the truth! In death, we lie upon and cast the temple of youth.
